Events, gatherings, congresses and conferences are valuable occasions where collective intelligence can emerge and different voices and opinions can enter into dialogue and generate new ways forward or innovative proposals.
This happens if we create the right conditions, if we create fertile ground for dialogue, collaboration and diversity as enrichment: as with a garden or an allotment, it is important to cultivate and maintain a fertile soil through patience and the use of tools.
And this is what we can do, with the right facilitation tools: our aim is to accompany you in structuring and facilitating an event (maybe a conference, a project or organisational gathering, a space for dialogue around a social or environmental issue) - and to do this in a way that makes space for sharing information and experiences, for listening to the diverse voices present and facilitating generative dialogues between those facilitating, to allow creative ideas and proposals to emerge, and harvest them.
What kind of events are of particular interest to us?
As a project, we facilitate a diversity of events. In some fields, we have an extensive track record, experience and enthusiasm. These include:
Events around emergent social issues: social conflicts, human rights, peace culture, diversity, coexistence, etc.
Events related to environmental issues: climate, water, biodiversity, regeneration, ecology, etc.
Events for public institutions around innovation, exchange of experiences, new horizons etc (such as state schools and the public health system, municipalism or local politics).
Events around emergent social and environmental issues, generative dialogues and joint reflection.
What does it mean to facilitate an event?
For us, fostering the exchange of experiences between people and listening to the diversity of voices present is the starting point from which to creatively deal with complex issues that emerge, whether related to climate change and sustainability, a burning issue that strongly impacts the life of a community or region, or something related to current and emergent social issues.
For us, facilitating an encounter is much more than injecting it with life and energy: we want to open spaces for sharing, for finding out what this situation or context is trying to teach or offer us on a deeper level - and from there, to obtain useful information for the next steps.
How does it work?
In order to facilitate your event, we will begin by reaching out to the organiser/s and exploring what the aims or aspirations for the event are.
Once we have a general picture, we will be able to make an intervention and facilitation proposal to enable us to materialize this aspiration together.
